Putting The Understanding of Time To Productive Use
Now if you grasp the idea that YOU have control of the time you have each day, then YOU can change your behavior patterns to get the very most out of every moment you are awake. For many people today, it seems as though there is no time to spend with our children or family members. We firmly believe this but in actuality it's not true. It is simply a matter of choosing to make an honest effort to change our behavior pattern by making better use of our time. If you make your usage of time more productive, you end up with more time to use for other productive purposes such as spending time with your family.
A Little Change Can Cause Huge Results In Time
It is normal behavior for us to think of making an attempt to become more effective in your use of your time, but in actuality it is simple as chewing gum. Let me provide a scenario that will illustrate the power of what a small change can make.
 |
In the image to the left, you will see two separate paths illustrated. The BLACK path is hypothetically your current path in life. The RED path is where you can go if you choose to do so.
Now at the point of the beginning of the path you can create, you will note that the distance between "A" and "B" is quite short, almost minescule, yet as it progresses further, the distance from the original path becomes greater in greater distance as it progresses closer to the end of the path.
|
You will note, the small change in the direction of the path was so small, yet look at the end result! This is the same as making a change in your current routine by making small changes in your usage of time. The end result will eventually be a much happier life and more time for more productive ends. It's as simple as that. It just appears to be more difficult to accomplish than it is in actuality.
Every Moment Is Precious, The Decision Is YOURS
Opportunity is waiting for you, it as simple as making a decision to make a change or continue on the path you have become so accumstomed to. In a sense, you have become "comfortably miserable" as many people are today. We get into a certain routine of life and when opportunity to perhaps realize our dreams comes our way, we choose to remain where we are. We do this because we are familiar with all the bumps in the road on the path we are currently on, and although the new opportunity looks good, we choose not t follow that path because of our fear of "What if the new path has more 'bumps' in the road than the current one?"
It is that decision based upon fear that wastes precious time we are given and choose to stay with a second best path in life. The bottom line is that every single moment you have in life is so precious, the decision is yours as to which path you will follow.
