in a fight with via role playing with the game cards and enjoy it

In
the image at left you will see some of characters from Knock Down,
Drag Out card game. Knock Down, Drag Out provides
not only the characters and tools to really the game on! The
artwork on the cards is highly detailed and consistent in level of
color, contrast, and tone.
The highly detailed images not only add substantial value to the marketability
of the game but the game play itself. So simple yet such a masterpiece! |

In Knock
Down, Drag Out you have a card game where the instructions are
simple, easy to understand, and a learning curve that is
practically a zero. You
have the game cards, a single sheet of paper with all the rules on
it, and single black plastic die. The single goal of the game is to
be the last character standing at The Thirsty Cactus saloon.
Now The Fun Begins...
With Knock Down, Drag Out, each player has a
Character Card. A Character Card has two sides; one
for Healthy and one for Hurt condition. Before
you even ask, every one of the players begins the game in a Healthy condition
with their Character Card on the playing surface facing up.
The next step is for each player to draw a total of 3 cards from the
playing deck to form their hand. A key point to remember is that not
all cards are the same type. They can specify various attack
methods, actions, or items. As the game progresses, players may
opt to spend their turn drawing more cards.
- ATTACK METHODS: Kick, Punch or an Uppercut
- ACTIONS: Duck, Play Possum, etc.
- USEFUL ITEMS: Broken Chair Leg, Firewater bottle,
etc.
Players take turns attacking each other as the game proceeds. The
amount of injury sustained is dependent upon the number rolled on
the die. If your
target is injured, they flip their Character Card over to
the "Hurt" side.
If they are injured twice (before being healed), then they
are knocked out.

Knock
Down, Drag Out along with its companion game, Third and Long have
probably seen more cities, states, and celebrities than most new
card games on the market! During that time, we had a very unexpected
surprise in this phase of our evaluation process. This was probably
one of the top 10 for us.

agenda and narrative development of the game is exceptional. This
is especially important considering it being a hybrid product.
The
well thought through mechanics of Knock Down, Drag Out delivers
a guarantee of a strong narrative progression and response level.
This of course contributes to the development of creative
thinking and cognitive abstract symbolic reasoning. If a player wanted
to win, they have to think and develop new strategies from reflective
memory with every single game.
Despite the incredible level of hard core analysis of the game,
Knock Down, Drag Out pulled
a perfect score of [5] Stars in this evaluation category for CREATIVE

The game box is visually appealing yet not quite the quality we feel it could
be yet the playing cards overshadowed that with the highest level of color and
detail you would ever imagine. There was outstanding imagery
on every single playing card. Knock Down, Drag Out met the goal
with a powerful
perfect score rating of [5] Stars in this category for OVERALL VISUAL APPEAL. |
